Bart De Strooper, MD, PhD
Bart is an internationally renowned physician scientist at Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie (VIB), Belgium and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) and the Director of the United Kingdom Dementia Research Institute at University College London.
He and his team have made groundbreaking contributions to understanding and treating Alzheimer’s disease for over three decades. Bart is Muna’s Chief Scientific Advisor and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board.
Simon Glerup, PhD
Simon is an internationally known Professor of Biomedicine at Aarhus University in Denmark who has made significant contributions to the understanding of progranulin signaling pathways in the brain in health and disease.
He is currently Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of Draupnir Therapeutics, and has co-founded other startup biotech companies. Simon is a member of Muna’s Scientific Advisory Board.
